My story
My real life had silenced my academic voice.
Manel Dabbebi · founder and teacher, MD Lingua
Beginning again
While earning my four-year Teaching Diploma in Languages, I was also raising two children. When my eldest started preschool, I returned to university for a Master’s Degree in Cross-Cultural Studies and Communication — and realized that motherhood had become my everyday language, while my academic voice had grown quiet.
That taught me my first true lesson about learning: knowledge comes alive when we use it. We cannot speak what we no longer practice.
So I began again. I rebuilt my voice, reconnected with my words, and stopped seeing learning as something we simply study — and started seeing it as something we live, practice, and experience. I crossed worlds through words. I have never stopped teaching, or learning, since.
Over the years, I’ve come to understand that language is so much more than communication:
- Language is connection.
- Language is identity.
- Language is confidence.
Words have let me cross boundaries, discover new perspectives, and shape my own story. Now, I want to help you shape yours.
MD Lingua is my bonheur
MD Lingua – mon bonheur brings together thousands of hours of teaching, years of experience, and everything I’ve learned along the way. It’s a space shaped by knowledge, dedication, and professionalism — and by my students, the people I’ve met, and the experiences that have influenced my journey.
MD Lingua is more than a language-learning platform. It’s a piece of my story.
